We are a Private Interest Civil Society Organization (OSCIP) that, since 2011, has been providing medical and dental care, along with socio-environmental education, to the riverside peoples of the Amazon region.
The work began with the perspective of Dr. Francisco Leão Júnior and Rubinho de Almeida Prado, who were fishing in the region. Whenever they encountered riverside communities, they were approached for quick consultations and requests for medication.
Recognizing the vulnerability of the health of these people, they decided to mobilize the medical community they knew to bring quality healthcare to this population.
Exactly 12 months later, the first expedition took place, and since then, we have been operating, promoting an annual journey to the region.
We care for those who care for the forest!
To provide medical, dental, and socio-environmental assistance to the riverside communities of the Amazon region, aiming to enhance the quality of life and the growth trajectory of children through continuous
support and engagement with the local population.
